NAPAS cards are now accepted for payments on Ho Chi Minh City’s Metro Line No. 1

Starting February 14, 2025, passengers on Metro Line No. 1 (Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien) can conveniently tap their NAPAS cards at ticket gates, offering a smarter and more modern payment experience. 

This open-loop payment system allows passengers to use OCB NAPAS cards for contactless transactions at all Metro Line No. 1 stations across Ho Chi Minh City. Both the OCB Natural Debit Card and OCB Natural Credit Card, equipped with contactless chip technology, are accepted for quick, safe, and secure payments.

Simply tap OCB NAPAS contactless card at the entry gate – no paper tickets or pre-loaded metro cards are required. To complete journey, tap the same card at the exit gate to finalize the payment transaction.

In addition to NAPAS cards, the metro line's automated ticketing system also accepts OCB Mastercard cards.
